Methow Valley, Washington
Rinehart Construction

This is a family vacation home set on a level site overlooking the Methow River, in a grove of Aspen trees. The theme was to create a wooden homestead, designed for entertainment and flexible use of the spaces within a limited budget. The house is 1,800 square feet on two levels with a sleeping loft high in the peak of the roof. The building is set four feet up on concrete piers due to the 100 year flood plain. Arrival and the garage are kept back so that the house can open itself up to the river and the magnificent views.
